Museum exposition park12/23/2023 ![]() To take public transportation from the station to the Museum take the Dash F bus at the corner of Seventh and Flower. The closest to the Museum is the main station situated on 7th St. There are several stations in the metropolitan area. Long distance coach service to Los Angeles is provided by Greyhound. ![]() The bus will stop in front of the University of Southern California across the street from the Museum on Exposition Blvd. Take the Dash F bus at the corner of Seventh and Flower. To take public transportation from Union Station to the Museum take the MTA Redline from Union Station to the 7th/Metro Station. Los Angeles Union Station is located across the street from Olvera Street. Los Angeles is served by two rail companies: Amtrak and Metrolink, both with service to Union Station. The GTC is located in the center of the East Parking Structure directly across from the Thomas F. The Ground Transportation Center (GTC) houses all Ground Transportation Services including buses, taxis, shuttles and car rental return. John Wayne Airport (in Orange County) is served by ten commercial, three commuter and two cargo air carriers offering more than 250 daily arrivals and departures to 22 direct non-stop United States destinations. Taxis and shuttles are available in front of the terminal. The airport is also a stop on Metro bus lines.įour airlines operate out of LGB: America West (five direct flights to Phoenix), American Airlines (direct flights to Dallas, Chicago and New York), JetBlue (flights to New York, Salt Lake City, Oakland, Washington and Las Vegas), and Horizon (daily flights to Seattle). Flights can be linked up with Metrolink (Mon-Fri only) and Amtrak at their nearby stations. Shuttles and taxi cabs are available on the islands in front of the terminal. BUR is served by Alaska, Aloha, America West, American Airlines, Southwest, and United, with frequent schedules along the West Coast and connecting flights across the entire country. The Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport is the closest airport to downtown Los Angeles. In addition, passengers can obtain local transit information by calling (800) 266-6883.Ģ. Information on city bus services is available by telephone on the Information Display Board in the baggage claim area in each terminal. Passengers also can take the "C" Shuttle from the same pick-up point to get to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority Bus Center, where they can board city buses serving the Los Angeles area. Passengers wishing to use this shuttle bus service should wait under the LAX Shuttle & Airline Connections sign on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal, and board the "G" Shuttle. Iii) Free shuttle bus service is provided to the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority - Metro Rail Green Line Aviation Station. It is illegal for any transportation services to solicit fares, and travelers using such services do so at their own risk. Only authorized taxis with an official seal issued by City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation on each vehicle are permitted in the airport. Passengers will be presented with a ticket stating typical fares to major destinations. Ii) Taxis can be found curbside on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal. These vans pick up passengers on the Lower/Arrival Level islands in front of each terminal under the orange sign Shared Ride Vans. I) Two shared-ride van companies: Prime Time Shuttle and SuperShuttle. Ground transportation from the airport includes: LAX has non stop connecting flights to most large cities in the US, Mexico, Canada, Europe and Southeast Asia. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)Īll major national airlines and numerous international airlines operate out of LAX. They are listed here in order of importance and proximity to the Museum.ġ. The Los Angeles metropolitan area is served by four major airports. Free parking will be provided daily to attendees at the staff parking lot. Parking in patrolled lots near the museum in Exposition Park are located off of Menlo Avenue. exit off the Harbor Freeway (110) and head west. If you are staying at the Radisson Hotel or any other hotel, you do not need to register first. In t he Registration Desk you can pick up your documentation and be directed to the housing facilities. Proper signs will be placed to direct you to the Registration Desk. ![]() The Education Classrooms are situated on the second floor. Once you arrive to the Museum walk to the Staff Entrance, where security staff and signs will direct you to the Education Classrooms. ![]() The Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County is located at 900 Exposition Boulevard in Exposition Park, across the main campus of the University of Southern California (USC) between Vermont and Figueroa.
